Hah, bet you thought that we had killed this off after 2009. Alas no, DSVella, Imperial Creed and CloakRaider brazenly venture on into the deep seas of podcastery, to deliver another 1 hour 30 minutes of gaming related garbage and whining on how Star Trek Online is either really bad or really good. We take on such challenging issues such as “Why do games cost more for us because we don’t pay with dollars”. We cover pretty much no news, but talk about some of the golden nuggets that are to be released in 2010.
After a really long hiatus where everyone sort of forgot we did a podcast and the website still managed to get views, we sort of thought that we might have to do something to see in the end of the year, otherwise the J-Server podcast would be lost forever. So enjoy our contorted opinion on the games of 2009, with special guest Hermit who due to a TIME FLUX that he was in, due to a NINJA BATTLE has a bit of the lags. So if he says something like “Well I think that…ha…feh…thghn”, nod and agree, assume he is trying to call back the old gods.
There are no show notes! This is what you get! So enjoy the marathon 1 hour 30 something podcast, and make sure you email questions or shout questions at either Vella or Cloak for next episode!
Welcome to this, the very special* anniversary episode of the Java Server podcast.
The website turned one year old as of yesterday, and amongst the usual news and gaming views we reminisce a little about the podcast of yore and how we all got to know each other. There’s also plenty of listener questions answered and community news to boot, so get listening.
So I have been a bit on the busy side and i am sorry to say the site has suffered. I will be mocking up a out takes special soon to be able make it all better. At least I hope so.
