Sir yes sir. I will make a new podcast thread!

Games becoming more popular than games. About bloody time! More people are finding they can get much more fun and life from a game than an album. Also, who buys singles anymore?
But the games industry is still growing hugely as most other industries shrink in the current credit crunch. Games sales are expected to big rocket this Christmas as they are cheaper alternatives to big spending sprees. We may even keep some of these new gaming converts! Grow you mighty games monster!
Also, "We're growing and getting bigger." Where was the obvious "Thats what she said?

4000 copies of AoC. I'd take all the plastic boxes, melt them down and make a plastic muscle suit. Then make a large shiney sword from the cd's. It's an idea.

Segway? Proffesional? I'm not sure what you're getting at Vella but keep at it!

Hurray for EA incompetents! Once again they should what fools they are. And they wonder why everyone hates them.

Wow. Someone listened to me...Let me take this in.....Okay. Thats my proud moment for the year. Back to the 9-5 slog! And yes. More insults of Juiced!#

Clock, you fail at segways. But keep at it. Is funny to hear you try. sorry dude.

Fallout 3 I have but is still on my shelf till I complete Farcry2. Past the half way point and am now in the southern half of the map. Doesn't seem too different but am working my way through it.I look forward to playing it but when you work mon to fri it's hard to find time to complete such games.

The golden joysticks were dominated by the mainstream for better and worse. COD4 was an awesome game but i can't help but feel that it's been taken over by the mainstream console gamers and taken that edge away from it. Guitar Hero taking so many awards as well takes away from others games because it's fun but it's because it's so popular with the mainstream it mops up. BUT FFS, HOW IS IT FAIR THAT FOR THE ND YEAR IT'S ALLOWED TO WIN BEST SOUNDTRACK?! Surly it's a little unfair to put multi award winning rock artists against most games. And even those that have an awesome sound track made by high quality artist, they'll still lost out because people are gonna vote Guns and Roses and Muse over the Mario Bro's theme. Of which i have all of them since Mario 1... Moving on.
Play.com I voted for. They always have games for cheap and have never let me down so far. I've pre-ordered L4D from them for £23 Compared to the £33 i've heard people pay on steam.

Kongregate.com is great. Me and my mate use it to keep us sane at work. Sonny, Gem craft, Desktop TD! All great! If you hadn't guess, my name is The_G for kongregate.

Yes I know the theory of bending light in space, refracting as well. No your not actually bending the light beam but the net result is that it changes direction.

Yes I did notice the logo on the file when I downloaded it. Just a small step to hiding the amateurness that is this podcast.

I've never heard about this valley but I get what you mean. Stalker's npc's did break the illusion. They ran in very scripted and stick-man like ways. Even in Farcry2, all your buddies have the same actions when talking to you which really annoyed me and made me remember they're all just AI's. We're getting closers but it'll still be some time before we get there. Grey I agree with you. Depending on the tone and theme, it will dictate your style. Games like Fallout need that serious look.

Woo old school gaming! Damn right game music still matters. Yes Halo as it's even played by a full orchestra. But Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Half life even. And of course, Ode to Joy when you clear a Peggle Level! Music will always matter and add the final level of effect.

Fuck. A serious question. Flash games are becoming a viable alternative. Quake in flash coming out springs to mind and FUCK YES desktop TD. Is hugely entertaining and addictive. But again, back to Kongregate. Look at the amount of games on there and alot of them are quality. Again Sonny, Gemcraft, etc but they're more than just a simple games for children. Sonny is a full RPG that took a month of lunchtimes at work to finish. it allows you to save your progress and buy items. No you can't play Crysis in a flash game but there are alot of great simple ideas that make it in flash. Peggle in flash is a great time killer and now Popcap are rolling in more money that they know what to do with.

L4D servers for CSC will be needed but there'll be a huge rush for them. Might be an idea of some more members clubbing together to buy another server. Speaking of which, may I suggest to Java, some sort of donations system to CSC. I'm sure there a few costs to running the J-Server and the site that you wouldn't mind some help with.
