Hey guys great podcast, people in the office even asked what I was laughing so hard about!
So this weeks question is what is the most extreme achievement you have for a computer game. i’m not talking about 100 hour WOW marathons but completing Metal Gear solid on euopean hard mode or completing FFVII without a memory card which we tried but after 6 hours everyone was too scared to play in case they died!!
Also as a comment i think you should throw one question of the week to the listeners!

That answer for my question was far too unrewarding.
Now I need a more ridiculous question. And I’ll aim to beat it every podcast.
If you could turn one obscure or not heavily advertised video game into a movie, what would it be, and who would play the characters?

I second Roadrunners question. I’d turn The Sims into a TV series. Fill a house with lots of useless desperate people and watch them 24/7…. oh looks like i’ve been beaten to it!!

hey all, I think i scared vella with suggesting this to him on steam. but he told me to write it here:
I Had an idea, probs for a one off podcast episode or a separate project featuring j server regulars if your keen.
a gaming rip off of BBC’s Fighting talk podcast.
Basically a panel show which awards points (frags) for good/whitty answers. and as fighting talk does have sound effects to represent the frags. a sound box with wav files can easily be made up.
1 frag = “headshot” sound
2 frags = “I’m fully charged”
3 frags = “Multikill”
and for those who go on too long or bad answers a minus frag of:
-1 (frag) = “Flag returned”
Questions range from ones that are topical to ones that would be on ‘ask the podcast’. (I have written quite a few already) examples are:
Transformers is out this summer if you could transform into one inanimaten object what would it be and why?
What computer game character could you most enjoy a pint with?
What TF2 character update does the panel want next and what would you update?
A life outside games. What have you been doing this week, found anything funny online? (this question is always asked. Good time to plug personal web deeds/be extra funny or tell a story)
the 2 panelists with the highest score then have a final round of defend the indefensible, a 20 second rant on a topic that they normally wouldn’t defend such as:
Luigi is the real hero in the Mario games
All American fanboys make me laugh with their user names and dick jokes.
Camping….. Its a ligitimate strategy.
The funniest person for those 20 seconds (also the most coherent) wins that week and our respect. All the rest fail.
It relies on the hoasts opinion of your answers throughout. But if people are laughing then obviously points are awarded!
So yeah, sorry thats a bit long and I have thought alot about it, i just don’t know how to do a podcast, nor do I have enough witty gaming friends.

Hey guys.
I know I’m behind again but finding the time to listen to you and write all my thoughts down has been trickey recently. I had to listent to youat work this time so I can only give you a summary this time. Vella, if you want any more detailed feed back just pm me.
So much better this time. You managed to perform the simple things this time like letting each other actualy talk rather than being one rabble. You also announced a spoiler warning which was good. The extra bits at the beginning and end were also really funny.
Other little things of note. Hypno just be quiet sometimes, Vella your game taste fails again, TF2 film for the win and hats even more. Ains has the spy hat and I really want it!
